Carlos G. Wiesse DDS, DABCP, FAACP, FAGD
Dr. Wiesse was born in Peru and arrived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1978. He attended North Texas State (now University of North Texas), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, where he earned his Doctorate in Dentistry in 1987. He then set up his practice in Grand Prairie and has been in practice for 30 years.
In his private practice Dr. Wiesse practices a full scope of general dentistry with an emphasis in Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD), Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and Orthodontics. He has special interest in performing cosmetic dentistry and placing dental implants.
Dr. Wiesse has committed a tremendous number of hours in continuing education to stay up to date of the latest developments in dentistry, TMD, orthodontics, and sleep apnea. As a result of his commitment, he obtained a Diplomat of American Board of Craniofacial Pain and also finished the Advanced Restorative Series continuums with the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. He is a fellow of the AACP and a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Certified Provider for Myobrace. He has also trained extensively in orthodontics through the International Association for Orthodontics.
As a dedicated and loving husband and father, Dr. Wiesse has many interests outside of his dental practice. He enjoys running, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family. He also loves music, plays the guitar, and is a soccer enthusiast.
