Carlos G. Wiesse, DDS

Welcome, I am very glad you found this website and decided to spend a few minutes learning about my practice. I am Dr. Carlos Wiesse. My surname is German and pronounced VEE-sa, just like the credit card. I arrived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 1978 to attend North Texas State (now the University of North Texas) www.unt.edu, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I was accepted to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas http://www.tambcd.edu/ where I was awarded my Doctorate in Dentistry in 1987. After graduation, I setup my dental practice in Grand Prairie. For the past twenty years, it has been my pleasure to be a member of your community. Patients say I have been known for my caring attitude toward our patients and my work. I have committed a tremendous number of hours in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in dentistry. As a result of my commitment I hold the prestigious degree of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and also finished the Advanced Restorative Series continuums with the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. I am a Fellow of the AACP and a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentist, and, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. I have also trained extensively for orthodontics through the International Association for Orthodontics http://www.iaortho.org/ . I am also fully bilingual having Spanish as my other language. I am married to Zaira Camerin, my wife of 22 years with whom I have two beautiful daughters. I am also an avid tri-athlete and musician.

Nicole- RDA, New Patient Coordintaor

Nicole has been an enthusiastic member of the dental community for the past 5 fulfilling years. Nicole attended Collin County Community College where she obtained her registered dental assistant licenses. Nicole has a passion for helping our patients and staff alike to ensure for an informative and comfortable visit. Nicole is great with new patient coordination and educating you on any dental treatment that may be required. Nicole is a firm believer in growing through education and does so consistently. Nicole also has specified training in the arena of sleep apnea where she attended and observed case studies. Nicole is also the proud mom of two.

Latricia, RDH/Periodontal Therapist

Latricia is our Registered Dental Hygienist. Latricia received her RDH from TCJC, TX in 1990. Latricia is one of our bi-lingual point persons in the office. She is known to the rest of the staff and our patients as the lady with "The Magic Hands". Very talented and truly dedicated to her patients she is determined to help each person achieve excellent oral health! Her genuinely caring attitude instantly makes you feel at ease and very well cared for. Numerous times we hear comments from our patients that with her they had the "best" and most thorough cleaning they ever had. Latricia frequently attends continuing education to keep up with the latest developments in the field of dental hygiene.Latricia has also trained for extensively orthodontics through the International Association for Orthodontics.Latricia and her husband are the proud parents of two handsome boys.

Billie- RDA,MBA Marketing Director

Billie has been an active member in the dental community for over 14 years and has also been hands on in essentially every patient comfort area of dentistry. Billie was also an independent registered dental assistant and surgical assistant for the 14-year stint. Her caring attitude and clinical knowledge will make you feel at ease when you arrive at our office. With her attention to detail, your experience at Beautiful Lake Ridge Smiles will make for a comfortable visit. She is great at answering any questions or concerns that you may have about our facility or your treatment. She is truly committed to helping you achieve optimal dental health with a smile to match. Billie has also trained extensively for orthodontics through the International Association for Orthodontics.Billie is a Nova Southeastern University graduate in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. She obtained a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biological Science and a Minor in Psychology. Billie is great at bringing optimal realtionships together between the practice and patients through internal and external marketing strategies. It is imparative that patients and doctors alike find the right fit for their professional relationship. Billie knows how important this is, and provides all of the necessary information to make such an educated decsion. Billie completed her Masters Degree with a Major in Business Administration and a concentration in Marketing at Grand Canyon Universities Ken Blanchard College of Business.

Liz, Financial Coordinator

Liz usually is the first smile that will welcome you into our office. Liz brings to our office 20 years of dental office and dental benefits experience. Liz is one of our bi-lingual point persons in the office. She is great at making financial arrangements that allow our patients to have a great smile on realistic budgets. As our financial coordinator she will help you with a financial plan that suits your needs. She is also able to answer any fee or dental benefits questions that you may have. Liz has also trained extensively for orthodontics through the International Association for Orthodontics.
